| As a huge group in our country,the Left-behind children in China has attracted wide attention from all sectors of society.According to the China Migrant Development Report 2013,75 percent of the new generation of migrant workers have memories of being Left-behind children in China,so the Left-behind children in China’s career development should be taken seriously.This study conducted a questionnaire survey of 362 rural left-behind children in a rural school through mature career scales to explore the current status of rural left-behind children.At the same time,it analyzes the shortcomings of rural left-behind children in career planning,and designs social work research programs for this purpose,hoping to provide reference for career guidance for rural left-behind children.Research indicates:1.The overall career planning level of left-behind children in rural areas is low,the concept of career self-care is not clear,and the maturity of career development is low;2.The level of career planning of left-behind children in rural areas varies in terms of gender,self-expectation,family economic conditions,parental education,parental expectations,and teacher-student relationship quality;3.In terms of personal factors,self-expectation values and participation in career counseling activities have a positive predictive effect on the career planning level of rural left-behind children;4.In terms of family factors,parental education,family economic conditions,and parental expectations have a positive predictive effect on the level of career planning of rural left-behind children;5.In terms of school factors,the quality of teacher-student relationship has a positive predictive effect on the career planning level of rural left-behind children.6.Overall,the level of career planning of rural left-behind children is influenced by three factors:individual internal factors,family factors and school environmental factors.This study proposes suggestions on these three aspects in order to improve the career planning level of rural left-behind children. |
