Tang poetry is the bright pearl of Chinese traditional literature,which not only includes rich contents such as history,culture and language,but also reflects profound ideological connotation.Image is the core of tang poetry.If you understand the various images in tang poetry,you can truly understand the meaning of poetry.In the teaching progress of Chinese as a foreign language,there is little study on the image,especially tang poetry.foreign students always face the serious problem like understand and read when they study Tang poetry.Well,how to take the imagery of tang poetry as the starting point in the class of international Chinese education,and guide the overall students to enter the class of Chinese tang poetry through the understand it,and finally love Chinese traditional culture,.That is the real reason for writing this paper.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly discusses the reason and background of the topic selection,the research method,and summarizes the literature on tang poetry teaching in TCSL.The second part mainly discusses the origin,development and characteristics of poetic imagery theory,and classifies the high-frequency imagery in tang poetry.The third part,firstly discusses the teaching content and target students from view of the Teaching Chinese as foreign language Secondly,it discusses the effect of image learning in TCSL.The fourth part mainly discusses the combination between imagery and situational teaching method in tang poetry.And take an example for moon to describe the specific teaching design.In general,what I have talked in this thesis is to provide some specific teaching ideas and Suggestions on the teaching of tang poetry in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
