Analysis Of The "Reality" Problems In The Creation Of Documentary Films

"Reality" is not only the unique aesthetic value of the documentary but also the meta-question of the theoretical research of it.The controversy of this issue has always accompanied the development of the documentary.Although the view of reality has been constantly changing,the traditional definition standards of the practice has been continuously broken."Reality" is always the core value of the documentary.Nowadays,in the context of technical means,real ideas and diversified artistic expressions,the definition of "reality" in documentary creation is more vague and probable.Especially when the documentary theme involves both the past and the present tenses,the conflict between fiction and reality is more obvious,among which the intangible culture heritages is a very typical subject.The study of "reality" helps to link documentary creation with reality in the ontological sense,thereby improving the level of documentary creation.This article will be based on the author's intangible culture heritages documentary film Discovery of Intangible Culture Heritages.At the same time,combined with some typical texts,such as: I am in the Forbidden City to repair cultural relics,Inheritance at the fingertips,Beijing Opera,to closely follow the latest trends in the development of documentary creation.We will provide scientific and comprehensive evidence for the viewpoints,and systematically study the “reality" concept in the creation of intangiblecultural heritage documentaries.The introduction part mainly defines the intangible culture heritages documentary.It puts forward the problem that“reality” needs to rethink on the basis of summarizing the research status.The first chapter is based on the development of documentary to understand the “reality”,sorting out the important nodes,analyzing the changes between documentary style tendency and realistic tendency in different periods and analyzing the influence of theory on the true view of documentary in different periods.Thus,it is pointed out that the true view of the documentary is always evolving.The second chapter discusses the use of documentary creation methods in narrative,audiovisual language,etc and discusses the important role of documentary techniques in ensuring the truth of documentary.The third chapter analyzes the role of fictional techniques in expressing the truth of documentary creation and discusses the application principles and limits of fictional techniques in documentary creation.The fourth chapter takes the creator and the recipient as the object of study,analyzes the impact of the documentary on "reality" due to the differences in the perception of reality between different subjects,and then combs out the misunderstandings that exist in the process of understanding reality and approaching reality.By reflecting on the essence of reality,the documentary documentary ontology is stabilized.
