Research On The Question And Answer Strategy Of The Regular Press Conference Of The Ministry Of National Defense

In recent years,the discourse of the spokesperson has become a hot topic of research,but most scholars are studying the speeches of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,and few people have studied the speech of the Ministry of National Defense.However,with the strengthening of China’s national strength,the strength of national defense,more and more countries in the world are also paying attention to China’s national defense development,China’s national defense discourse should also attract people’s attention.Therefore,this article takes the question and answer at the regular press conference of the Ministry of National Defense as the research object.I took 21 regular press conferences between 2017 and 2018,606 questions and answers as a corpus.I combined the"question" and "answer" at the press conference to do the corresponding analysis,and through the corpus research question and answer strategy used in the press conference.This article is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction.First of all,it introduces the reasons for the selection of the thesis from both theoretical and practical aspects;Secondly,it introduces the research methods,scope and specific sources of the essay;Finally,the research status of the regular press conference of China’s Ministry of National Defense and the domestic question-and-answer strategy were sorted out.The second part is to study the reporter’s questions.First,classify journalists’questions from both formal and semantic aspects.Through the production of line charts and pie charts,we can understand the specific use of each question type at the press conference.Secondly,the author will make further corresponding research on the questions of journalists of different forms and the questions of journalists of different semantic types.Through the compiled tables,it can be found that when the reporters ask questions about different semantic types,there is a certain tendency to choose which form to ask questions.Finally,the five strategies of reporters’ questions are summarized,and on this basis,the specific situation of reporters choosing to use questioning strategies under different semantic types is further studied.The third part mainly studies the speaker’s answer.First of all,on the basis of the reporters’ questions of different forms and different semantic types,the author’s answers are one-to-one correspondence research.Secondly,on the basis of the forms,the reporter made a specific study on the reporter’s answer and avoidance,and tried to find out the types of questions asked by the reporters when the speaker had more questions.In order to give effective reference to future reporters.Finally,the speaker’s response strategy is specifically studied from three levels.The first level includes answer strategy and avoidance strategy;The second level includes direct answering,indirect answering,direct avoidance,and indirect avoidance;The third level includes many specific subordinate strategies such as indirect referencing,side derivation,and fuzzy answering.Because the difference in answering strategies is mainly reflected in the third level,so many subordinate strategies are the content of this part of the key research.The fourth part summarizes the content of the full text and points out the shortcomings of this paper.
