At present,with the optimization,improvement and upgrading of TencentWeChat,micro lectures have been widely used in China.Many schools and training institutions have aimed at the unique advantages of WeChat public number.So they begin mobile terminal learning experience based on WeChat platform.As the mobile Internet is developing rapidly,and the development of micro lecturesare increasing,it is necessary to build a free mobile platform of micro-lecture resources to help students make full use of fragment time to learn.In the study,the author analyzes the advantages of WeChat public number at first,and then builds a micro-lecture platform for students with a WeChat public number,and applies it into practice of the experimental classes,and exemplifies some cases of using WeChat public number in English teaching.Finally,the author analyzes the teaching effect and finds out the problems and solutions.The paper is divided into six parts.The first part includes the introduction of the reason of researchand significance as well as research status at home and abroad.The second part expounds the definition andbasic theories,and analyzes the connection between WeChat and building the platform ofmicrolectures.The third part isabout the current teaching situation of secondary vocational schools and an assumption of teaching reform.The fourth part focuses on micro-lecture English teaching practice based on the public numberof WeChat platform,taking the students in X secondary vocational school as research objects,and then presents some teaching cases.The fifth part is the analysis of teaching results after one year.The sixth part ismainlyabout the conclusion and prospect.
