"Chinese Hip-hop"Revelation

Hip-hop originated in the 1970 s black slums in the United States,is one of the most popular form of hip-hop culture,its essence is simple melody and fixed rhythm together into a rhythmic rap.Due to its strong creative improvisation,singing does not need too much skill,gradually in the music globalization trend occupies a place.Hip-hop music was introduced to China in the 1980 s.This kind of singing form reminds us of an ancient Chinese art form--quyi.Quyi is a general term for all kinds of "rap art" of the Chinese nation.It is a unique art form formed by the long-term development and evolution of folk oral literature and singing art.From the "rap" form,and imported hip-hop music has many similarities or similarities.However,it is not difficult to find that the development of today's traditional folk art is in a dilemma.Under the background of global economic integration and rapid development of information,and under the impact of colorful and diverse music culture,the current situation and development of Chinese quyi with single performance and outdated traditional contents are worrying.Hip-hop music initially introduced into China is not accepted by the public,represented by jay Chou,and other singers began to try to create and hip-hop music combined with Chinese traditional culture,into the drama,such as ancient Chinese poems in the song Chinese traditional elements,the innovation and fusion of "Chinese hip hop music" led to a mass of hot tips and sought after.We can't help thinking that the exotic hip-hop music takes root in China with the help of traditional Chinese cultural soil,and forms "Chinese hip-hop" music.Then,can traditional folk art return to public view with a new look under the background of the trend? This paper attempts to study and compare the artistic characteristics of hip-hop music and traditional quyi through literature materials,analysis and comparison,field investigation and other research methods,on the basis of extensive understanding of research and mastering literature materials,to explore the new appearance and diversity development of traditional Chinese quyi under the great change of music.
