Research On Lin Yiguang And His Book Named General Explanation Of The Book Of Songs

Lin Yiguang is an important scholar in the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China.He has made achievements in the fields of philology,exegesis,Confucism,and so on.Among them,the Study of Confucian classics is the interpretation and annotation on the basis of the maturity of Lin’s characters and exegesis,which comprehensively embodies Lin’s academic accomplishment.However,due to all kinds of factors,it is a pity that Lin and his writings have not been paid much attention by the academic circles.In order to fully explore and promote Lin’s academic accomplishment and enrich the academic history,this paper takes Lin and his Book of songs as the research object and tries to solve the blank field that the predecessors have not dabbled in.The main content of the paper is divided into the following five parts:The first part is the introduction,which is divided into three aspects.The first aspect is to summarize the research status of the Book of songs,to understand the current academic research achievements and positioning of Lin’s classics;The second aspect is to summarize the previous evaluation and evaluation of the Book of songs in order to determine the significance of the study of the Book of songs,and the third aspect is to establish the academic principles of the study of the Book of songs,and to establish a set of effective methods.The second part is the first chapter,which is divided into two sections,the first section is to study the life story of Lin Yiguang,using the information to determine the approximate life of Lin,and his intercourse;The second section summarizes the publication and publication of Lin’s works,and clarifies the main direction and mature period of Lin’s academic research.The third part is the second chapter,which mainly explores the exegetical achievements of the Book of songs,which is divided into two sections.The first section is from the content of exegesis,the interpretation of the Book of songs mainly from "collating the text,explaining the meaning of the precepts," "three aspects to begin to solve the scripture;" The second section looks from the exegetical method,from the text form,the pronunciation,the meaning three aspects,probes into the ancient characters in the Book of songs,such as the interpretation,the pronunciation and so on;Reference and application are given to the new ancient writing materials,and various documents are widely cited,and detailed textual research is made on the words and meanings of the Book of songs.The fourth part is the third chapter,which mainly analyzes Lin Yiguang’s thought of learning from the Book of songs,which is divided into three sections.The first section looks at Lin Yiguang’s methods of learning from the cited documents,and statistics and classifies the documents cited in the Book of songs.This paper summarizes the characteristics of the cited documents in the Book of songs,summarizes the academic value of the cited documents in the Book of songs,and looks at Lin Yiguang’s research methods from the situation of the cited documents.The second section is about the characteristics of Lin Yiguang’s academic thought and the third section is about Lin Yiguang’s thought of learning and its enlightenment to contemporary learning.The fifth part is the fourth chapter,which demonstrates that the treatment of the Book of songs is worth discussing,which is divided into two categories: the doubt and the mistake of the treatment of the classics,and the careful examination from the objective point of view of the various problems concerning the ritual system of names and objects,the geographical orientation,the source of poetry meaning and so on,which are involved in the interpretation of the Book of songs from an objective point of view.To lay the foundation for later researchers.To sum up and judge the success or failure of Lin’s study,to better serve the contemporary new system of the development of the academic history.
