The Experimental Study On The Matter Of The Consonant's Voiced And Voiceless In Longquan Dialect

Longquan,in the southwest of Zhejiang province,is located in the border of Zhejiang,Fujian and Jiangxi provinces.The academic circles take different views on the voiced and voiceless consonant in Longquan dialect.This paper takes the plosives,affricates and fricatives in Longquan dialect as the object of study,and mainly adopts the experimental method to observe and analyze the voiced and voiceless acoustic characteristics of such consonants,so as to determine their phonetion types.The whole paper is divided into five chapters:The introduction introduces the general research situation,the phonetic system of Longquan dialect,and the significance of the topic.The general situation part introduces the general situation of experimental research on the consonant in Mandarin Chinese,dialect and minority languages,the general situation of the experimental research on the consonant in Wu dialect and the general situation of the research on Longquan dialect.The phonetic system includes the phonological system,the homophony syllabary and the dissyllabic tone sanhi in Longquan dialect.The first chapter is experimental description and conceptual destinction.It includes the experimental materials and equipments,the recording process,the original phonetic data reduction,the information of speakers and the distinction of some concepts.The second chapter is the acoustic characteristic analysis of the single word's initials in Longquan dialect.VOT/Duration,the initial pitch of a trailing vowel,HNR,CPP of the plosives,affricates and fricatives in Longquan dialect are statistically analyzed.Besides,the spectral slope,HNR,and the initial pitch of a trailing vowel of the single word(with unit vowel [a])'s initials as the sample are analyzed,and the conclusion is drawn that the voiced consonant is not voiced sound but breathy voice in Longquan dialect.The third chapter is the acoustic experimental study on the "Voiced and voiceless transformation" of the initial consonant of the double-word in Longquan dialect.By comparing the acoustic features of the initial consonant at the first word in tone sandhi when it's tone is Yangping,Yinqu and Shangsheng in Longquan dialect,it is concluded that the initial has the characteristics of bteathy voice when the tone of the first word is Yingqu and Shangsheng,and the initial is normal voice when the tone of the first word is Yangping.The fourth chapter is the conclusion part,which summarizes the main content of this paper as well as indicates the weaknesses.
