Zhang Jinger,as the founder of the Nanqi regime, was a Cambrian general from Yongzhou. At the end of the Southern Dynasty and Song Dynasty,Zhang Jinger was subordinate to Xiao Daocheng, who made great contributions to Xiao’s usurpation of the Song Dynasty. After joining Qi Dynasty,as the most important minister at that time,he was ranked among the three princes. His experience was typical of the Cambrian generals of the Song and Qi Dynasties.Zhang Jinger’ s courageous character is closely related to the overall environment of Yongzhou.Other Yongzhou Cambrian generals in the Southern Dynasty,Song and Qi Dynasties were similarly affected to a certain extent.Through narration and analysis,we find that the way for Zhang Jinger and others to rise is to recruit into the army under the recruiting system and accumulate meritorious achievements for promotion.Later, with the support of Xiao Daocheng,Zhang Jinger entered the central armed system from the local armed system.Later,he helped Xiao Daocheng eliminate his dissidents and made great contributions to the establishment of the Qi regime in the Southern Dynasty.Zhang Jinger and other Cambrians will help Xiao Daocheng to establish the regime of the Southern Qi Dynasty, and their social and political status has been greatly improved, but ultimately they still have not got rid of the fate of death.
