Coloratura is a vocal singing technique with unique charm,which is widely favored by composers and singers and is used in composing and singing.In the early Baroque period and its fully developed Romantic period,there are several vital differences in the forms and methods of expression of coloratura.The writer is starting from the representative of Handel in the Baroque period,compares the aria "Let the bright Seraphim" in his oratorio "Samson" with the aria "Quel guardo il cavaliere" in Donizetti’s opera "Don Pasquale" in the Romantic period,using musical examples and Lyric content,and analyses the different creative techniques between them.The distinct characters created by each artist and the different singing styles that the singer needs to show in the second creation.
