In the context of the Internet in new period,the rapid development of culture and entertainment industry and the increasing number of fan base.a series of consumer behaviors have done in order to meet the emotional needs of individuals.That is highprofile fandom economy.With the diversification of consumption motivation among young people’s,fandom industry of strong extension and the tourism industry that is associated and integrated have crossed and interacted with each other,which provides an opportunity for integration of fandom economy industry and tourism industry.Quanzhou,as the first batch of famous historical and cultural cities in China,has ancient remains of well preservation,rich categories of cultural tourism resource and good basic conditions for tourism development.However,due to the constraints of location conditions and the lack of core attracting factors,phenomena that the tourism products are not competitive and the structure of tourist sources is relatively single and the overnight rate of tourists is low occur.Therefore,under the background of flourishing fandom economy,large-scale star cultural performance is a new tourist attraction in the process of urban tourism development.The “tourism roles” acted by it play a vital role in promoting tourism functions.This paper takes the tourism effect as a case study which produced by some large-scale start cultural performances held in Quanzhou City.Based on the theory of fandom economy,consumer society theory,push-pull theory and industrial convergence,qualitative analysis method was adopted to in-depth analysis official news material during performance,interview content of related tourism enterprises and fan-group travel experience notes.The work done above is to explore the mechanism how the phenomenon of fandom economy boosts the development of tourism in Quanzhou.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)when fans come to Quanzhou to participate in performance,they will become tourists.The precondition of role change is that the tourism value of Quanzhou and the potential tourism demand of fan work together;(2)there are three ways of transforming fans into tourists: self-growth,external catalysis and compound transformation;(3)when the fans turn into tourists,the positive effects of the transformation on Quanzhou’s tourism development include generating tourism attractions,activating tourism economy and improving tourist structure of Quanzhou,etc.But in the meantime,there are also some negative effects which can’t be ignored,such as insufficient tourist reception service facilities and the tourism effects caused by fandom economiy phenomenon lasts for a short time.Finally,based on the above conclusions,measures and suggestions are given from defining management system,optimizing market operation mode and innovating marketing respectively for the further integration of Quanzhou entertainment industry and tourism industry so as to create a good industrial integration effect.
