In the history of human history,the snobbery is caused by the disparity in political status between people and the re-division of economic conditions;and because of the differences in individual qualities and ethics,different people in society show a variety of snobbery behaviors.As a reflection of life,the snobbish ethos of literary works and the snobbish characters inevitably have different degrees of description.In the middle of the Qing Dynasty,the realistic novels mainly reflected the human condition.The works contained a large amount of content related to the depiction and uncovering of the snobbish and snobbish characters,and became a mirror reflecting the society of the Qing Dynasty.Among them,compared with the novels of the same period,Wu Jingzi’s description of snobbery in "The Scholars" is comprehensive and profound.Exploring the description of the snobbery of the realistic novels in the middle period of the Qing Dynasty helps us understand history and understand the society,and at the same time,it can also provide useful enlightenment to the current reality.This article takes the description of snobbery in "The Scholars" as the starting point and the core,and then combs the content of this aspect of the Qing Dynasty’s middle-aged realistic novels to explore its special textual meaning and social value.The first chapter focuses on the analysis of the description of snobbery of the realistic novels in the middle period of the Qing Dynasty.It is mainly organized and analyzed from the bureaucratic snobbery,the snobbish snobbery,the snobbery of the family and the snobbery of the market,with statistical tables as a reference.These contents clearly show that the snobbish wind has permeated the whole society at that time,and the author has ruthlessly whipped up the deformed character and ugly words and deeds of the people who were squandered by the snobbish atmosphere,depicting a snobbish map.This reveals the great harm of the snobbery and is thought-provoking.The second chapter focuses on the artistic method of snobbery description of the realistic novels in the middle period of the Qing Dynasty.In many novels of the middle period of Qing Dynasty," The Scholars","Dream of Red Mansions" and "The Road Lamp" are the representatives of the artistic means.The author uses these three works as the core of the text study of this chapter,so as to take a look at the artistic creation methods of such works in this period.Generally speaking,in the middle of the Qing Dynasty,the realistic novels of the Qing Dynasty used artistic methods such as objective realism,white depiction,contrasting,detailed depiction and moderate exaggeration to fully reproduce the words and deeds of the snobbish characters.The third chapter focuses on the causes of the description of "snobbery" in the writers of the realistic novels in the middle of the Qing Dynasty.This chapter is based on the most profound and rich " The Scholars","Dream of Red Mansions" and "The Road Lamp".Among them,this section will focus on the most thorough and in-depth description of "The Scholars" and Wu Jingzi,and will focus on Wu Jingzi’s cultural reflection.The conclusion sums up the description of "snobbery" in "The Scholars" as a typical example of the realistic novels in the middle of the Qing Dynasty,and pointed out the current meaning and eternal value of Wu Jingzi’s description of "snobbery".
