A Comparative Analysi Of The Versions Of The Chopin’s Ballades No.1 In G Minor, (OP.23)

The Ballades No.1 in G minor,Op.23,since this great composition emerges,it has been attracting attention and affection of all pianists,not only because of its magnificence which requires excellent performing skills,but its rich and profound content which plays significant role in piano playing.It is one of the essential pieces performed by pianists and in many piano concerts or piano albums.By far,of all renowned published audiovisual products,we notice that pianists or piano masters give us various features in performing skills and methods,and tell us subtle difference in tempo and expression,on the condition of respecting the original purpose of composition.By analyzing and comparing the changes of speed and intensity of different performers in performance,this paper tries to find the commonness and individuality of different performers music performance,and analyze their different ways of music expression.By this study,it is hoped that reference could be provided for those who prepare to perform The Ballades No.1 in G minor,Op.23,including myself,and let pianists learn more about this composition so as to facilitate them to master performing skills more accurately,perform and treat this composition more.
