The Study Of Zhu Dequn’s Abstract Painting From The Perspective Of Chinese And Western Art

Mr.Zhu Dequn,a French traveling artist,skillfully combines Oriental Art Philosophy with Western painting to form a poetic Abstract painting.Based on his contribution to the history of art,the French Academy awarded him the title of Academician of Art,becoming the first Chinese-American artist to win this title and ranking among the French pillar painters.This thesis divides the study of Zhu Dequn’s abstract painting from the perspective of Chinese and Western art into three parts as a whole.Firstly,it combs and analyses Zhu Dequn’s exploration path of painting form and the formation of abstract painting style in different stages according to the time sequence;secondly,it explores the characteristics of Chinese and Western art in Zhu Dequn’s abstract painting from the use of Eastern and Western languages and the integration of Chinese and Western art.This paper analyses the contribution of abstract painting to Chinese and Western art from three aspects: the exploration of modernist painting with Chinese and Western integration,the Oriental Image in Western abstract painting,and the traditional revival in modern painting.Zhu Dequn’s abstract painting integrates Chinese traditional philosophy,painting interest,calligraphy form,poetry image,and combines the picture form and color composition of western modern abstract painting to form an artistic exploration road completely different from Western abstract painting now.
