| Chinese textbooks are the important reference basis for Chinese teachers as well as the main learning materials for Chinese learners.As the important contents in the compilation of Chinese textbooks,the previous studies on textbooks of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and teaching grammar have not attracted much attention to notes on language points in,and there are not many related research results.Therefore,based on the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the problems reflected by learners in their learning,we investigate and analyze the notes of language points on elementary Chinese comprehensive teaching materials,except the introduction and conclusion,there are four parts as follows:In the first part,we put forward we should take a broad perspective to discuss the language points in elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks,which is basically equivalent to the "language points" in second language teaching,it mainly focus on grammar,and also including the other linguistic elements,such as phonetics,words(mostly referring to function words or particle),phrases etc.It is argued that notes on language points should not only describe and give examples in linguistic forms with specific rules in the language,and also need to explain the pragmatic function in a specific context,guide the teachers and students with targeted exercises,then achieve the goals that teaching only the essential and assuring plenty of practice in Chinese comprehensive course.In the second part,we focus on notes of language points in three sets of Chinese textbooks which are belong to the primary stage: "CHENGGONG ZHI LU" "FAZHAN HANYU" and " HANYU JIAOCHENG".We analyzed and summarized the characteristics of forms and contents showing on notes of language points in the textbooks.We thought that the explanation of language points should avoid the phenomenon of paying too much attention to the linguistic forms brought by traditional teaching method and traditional grammar theory in teaching materials,and the selection of language points should focus on the language reality,which should be intuitive and prominent in the form of interpretation,and grasp the key points in the content of interpretation.In the third part,based on the investigation from two different perspectives of learners and teachers,the actual requirements of users for notes on language points are summarized.For learners,the notes on language points should pay attention to the conciseness of Chinese and English explanations as well as indicate the specific pragmatic environment;should choose practical examples,and also design targeted exercises.For teachers,the choice of language points should not be limited to the content of grammatical structure,but have to illustrate pragmatic function combined with the practical needs of the context and communication of the text,so as to guide teaching.And also should pay attention to the pertinence and communication of the practice setting.In the fourth part,we summed up the function orientation of notes on language points in elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks,and put forward some instructions and written suggestions for notes on language points in Chinese textbooks: namely combining with teaching practice,pay attention to the scientific nature of the language points selection;includes pragmatic functions and highlights the simplicity of language interpretation;take the communication as the clue,emphasizes the pertinence of the language point practice;take into account the arrangement position and style design of language point description.To sum up,this paper provides some thoughts and ideas to determine the contents and styles of notes on language points in Chinese textbooks that should be easy to teach and learn in the future,and also will have certain positive significance to the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
