Compilation Of College Students’ Natural Observation Intelligence Scale

【Research purposes】Through the determination of the structure of the natural observation intelligence scale of college students and the preparation of the topic,a natural observation intelligence scale with high reliability,validity and discrimination is formed.Then use the scale to investigate the status quo of students’ natural observation intelligence,provide a relatively objective and reasonable questionnaire material for college students’ understanding,discussion,cultivation and improvement of natural observation intelligence,and provide new research for multiple intelligence and other research.Perspective and theoretical basis.【Research content】There are three main contents.One is to independently construct the index system of natural observation intelligence of college students;the second is to compile the "National Observatory Intelligence Scale for College Students";the third is to understand the current status of natural observation intelligence development of Chinese college students.【Research methods】Firstly,under the guidance of relevant theories,an evaluation indexsystem for natural observation intelligence of college students including4 first-level indicators and 11 second-level indicators was constructed,and was revised and improved after interviewing 10 experts.Then,the initial questionnaire of the natural observation intelligence of college students was compiled with 34 items.After predicting 189 college students from the two universities,10 unreasonable items were deleted and 20 items were refined.At the same time,After the confirmatory factor analysis,the four first-level indicators were renamed,and the“University Natural Observation Intelligence Scale” consisting of four first-level indicators and 11 second-level indicators was formed.Finally,804 college students from 9 universities in Shandong,Hunan,Yunnan and Beijing were formally tested,and their quality and validity indicators were tested.The development status of college students’ natural observation intelligence was analyzed.【Research results】(1)The natural observation intelligence index system of college students includes 4 first-level indicators and 11 second-level indicators.The four first-level indicators are: observation intention,observation cognition,problem solving,and knowledge and skills.The cumulative interpretation rate of the four factors was 62.4%.(2)Through the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis of the data of 804 college students,the correlation coefficientbetween each dimension and total score of the questionnaire is between0.760-0.875,and the correlation coefficient between the dimensions is between 0.463-0.642.Its reliability and validity have reached the requirements of psychometrics.The confirmatory factor analysis fits and corrects the theoretical model and scale data of the natural observation intelligence of college students.X2/df is less than 5,GFI and CFI are greater than 0.9,and RMSEA is less than 0.08.This verifies the rationality of the natural observation intelligence scale of college students.(3)Through the analysis of college students’ natural observation intelligence,college students’ natural observation intelligence has significant differences in gender and specialty(p<0.05).【Research conclusions】(1)Self-constructed index system of natural observation intelligence of college students,including 4 first-level indicators(observation intention,observation cognition,problem solving,knowledge and skills)and 11 secondary indicators.(2)The "University Natural Observation Intelligence Scale" compiled contains 20 items,and has a good letter,validity and concept model fitting,which can be used to evaluate the natural observation intelligence of college students.(3)The natural observation intelligence of college students isgenerally above average,but there are significant differences in gender and profession.
