Modern information and mobile-technology revolutionize the teaching,learning behaviors and the whole curriculum system of Spoken-Engish course,which has been time-consuming but poorly-efficient so far.Previous studies ignore the combination of quantitative and qualitative method,while failing to construct the overall framework of the system.Therefore,this research explores the feasibilities of network resourcess and mobile technology assitsted University Spoken-Engish course(NMA-USC)quantitatively and qualitatively from the perspectives of requirements analysis,acceptability,technique and experiment.This paper also proposes the overall three-dimensional frame and the emphases of current USC design.The overall frame includes ‘Frame of Principle,Requirements Analysis,Environment,Teachers and Students’,‘Frame of Four Elements of USC design’ and ‘Frame of Influence factors of Four Elements’.Current NMA-USC principles should adhere to the guiding documents issued by education officials.Current NMA-USC requirements analysis should emphasis on stuednts’ needs.The design of current NMA-USC objectives should take the particulatities of the country,local areas and Universitys into consideration.The selection and organization of curriculum contents should be based on reality and academic truth.The implementation of curriculum should focus on flexible cooperation of teaching methods and emotional stimulation.The evaluation of curriculum should balance Fragmented Network and Mobile-Assisted Language Learning(FNMALL)and systematic language knowledge system.FNMALL is the key to the success of NMAUSC curriculum design.It is found that contemporary University students already have a certain motivation and capability of FNMALL,while lacking perseverance in FNMALL.English majors’ perseverance in Spoken-English FNMALL is significantly better than non-English majors.This study further explored the learning power of FNMALL,including FNMALL learning abilities,motivation and perseverance,and their respective upgrade paths.
