Study On Mongolian Place Names In Aohan Banner

The essay studied Mongolian place names in Aohan Banner Chifeng City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,and guided by the theories of culture and language study,it discussed about Mongolian place names in Aohan Banner with the methods like analysis and classification.The essay was constituted by the introduction,chapter 1,chapter 2,chapter 3,the conclusion,the references and the appendixes.The introduction part mainly described the general situation of Aohan Banner,the research situation of place names in Aohan Banner,the purposes and objectives of the topic,data source and research methods as well.Chapter 1 studied the historical Mongolian place names in Aohan Banner(places,structural features,types and cultural connotation).Chapter 2 briefly introduced Roman spelling roles of Mongolian place names,as well as issues related to Chinese transliteration and transfer.and studied the contemporary Mongolian place names in Aohan Banner.(structural features,types and cultural connotation).Chapter 3 analyzed changes of Mongolian place names in Aohan Banner(direction,cause and influence).In the conclusion part,it summarized the contents of the whole essay briefly.In the appendixes,the collected historical Mongolian place names and the contemporary Mongolian place names in Aohan Banner were listed.
