Allegorical Writing Texts In Feminism Art

Contemporary feminism art is an important part of postmodern art,which is different from modern art that rejects historical narrations and advocates closed-ended texts.Instead of adopting "pure language" and "abstract or symbolic form",it tends to use the creative strategy of allegorical schematic expression.When examining women’s identity,it explores liberation from the woman body’s schematic texts in the history of art,or emphasizes the new connection between the artistic texts of female body and the new fields-Natural ecology,computer technology,medicine and life sciences and so on,moving towards the spiritual ritual of ideas.The theme and strategies to represent the female body as a form of female art,the author finds inspiration in the works of Frida Kahlo,Judy Chicago and Liu Hong.Their oil paintings are mainly based on the themes of animals and plants.They use animals and flowers patterns to metabolize the female body and show an aesthetic paradigm of female subjectivity.The author was influenced,for example,by the figurative expression technique of Kahlo’s magical reality,and created the image of Feiteng’s female cat;drawing on the method of metaphorical females in Chicago,using flowers to symbolize women’s body;The fusion of the sky pattern painting the female cat image refers to Liu Hong’s rewriting of traditional Chinese female images and her strategies on the related schema.In the graduation painting series "Dream",the author makes use of patterns of female cats,flowers and girls to form different magical dream scenes.Therefore,through the use of animals and plants symbols,the author creates allegories to re-present and integrate the female schemes of the body;In the context of Contemporary Art,it intends to present itself as innovation in Chinese women art:rethinking history and the current state of cultural existence and re-presenting the female body.This paper is divided into three parts:First,it expounds two developmental trends of strategies that make use of allegory,in Chinese and foreign Feminism art,and sorts out the evolution process of female artist’s allegorical writing in the theme of animals and plants.Second,it presents cases study of three female artists,Frida Kahlo,Judy Chicago and Liu Hong(who have profound influence on the author’s artistic creation)and their allegorical representative paintings.Finally,it discusses the concrete practical process of generating fable texts in the series "Dream",where "transplants" and"mutation become the author’s creative strategy,integrates Dunhuang art patterns,combines female cats and flower patterns,and then re-presents allegory and female symbols.
