The Artistic Research Of The Mural Of Longju Temple In Guanghan City

This paper includes five parts according to the actual situation and artistic characteristics of the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the main idea of the process of researching the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City,including the development,content,purpose and method of the research.By the arrangement of original documents,the second part makes an overall review on the drawing content,location and layout,development and the external factors in the formation of murals,so as to expound the historical value and religious value of the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City.Based on the field visits,the third part makes an image interpretation of the content of the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City,including Twelve Bodhisattravas of Perfect Enlightenment,Deva-loka and other Apsaras and disciples.With the foundation of images of Buddhist art and photographs taken from field visits,the paper analyzes the artistic characteristics of the mural,and interprets the intrinsic meaning of the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City.On the basis of the image interpretation of the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City,the forth part analyzes the figure,line drawing,color,the technique of making and artistic style of mural,and contracts with the mural of other temples horizontally and vertically,so as to explore its artistic value in depth,and provide more references to the scholars who research the same thing in the future.The last part makes an overall statement on the artistic enlightenment of the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City.By the interpretation of the artistic individuality of the mural,its artistic values are explained.Besides,the integral design and the breakdown of artistic style of mural play an enlightening role on modern painting.Although many places of the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City are spalled,the restoration and protection of the murals by the relevant departments are still continuing.Therefore,the artistic research of the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City not only can fill the blank in the content of murals in Buddhist temple in the Ming Dynasty in Sichuan,also make the artistic value of the mural itself can be widely recognized by the academic community.Therefore,the research of of 7the mural of Longju Temple in Guanghan City has practical significance.
