In the context of the era of big data,more and more information technology has been involved in English classes,and the traditional English teaching mode has changed greatly,which puts forward higher professional challenges for English teachers.The proposal of TPACK is based on the concept of integrated technology,and provides a relatively complete knowledge framework for teachers’ knowledge system.This is also of great significance to the professional development of English teachers.In fact,as an important part of pre-employment training,full-time Master of Education also needs to learn system knowledge from the perspective of TPACK,and learning situation of TPACK also affects their future professional development.Based on this,under the framework of TPACK knowledge,this paper focuses on the master of education in subject teaching(English)and want to discuss the present situation of M.Ed.’s TPACK knowledge,and then puts forward promotion strategies.On the basis of the existing research,this paper takes the TPACK questionnaire of Sahin as the reference,and applies the questionnaire method and the interview method.This paper investigated the current situation of two university’s M.Ed.in Subject Teaching(English)in Shaanxi province by using questionnaire and interview method from seven dimensions,including TK,CK,PK,PCK,TCK,TPK,TPACK,and further put forward to promotion strategy to improve their TPACK learning level.The results of the study showed as follows.First,the status of TPACK of M.Ed.in Subject Teaching(English)is generally not optimistic.Among seven elements,CK and TCK are the worst,which need to be improved immediately.Second,there is an imbalance phenonmenon in M.Ed.’s TPACK.Among seven dimensions,TK,TPK and TPACK were poorly and unbalanced.Third,PK and PCK were well mastered but still needed to be consolidated.Based on the data analysis,the author suggests that in the process of cultivating the M.Ed.in Subject Teaching(English),the college and masters should both take effective strategies to promote their TPACK learning level.For example,colleges should systematize the course,teachers should renew the teaching mode,and students are required to strengthen their integrated ability based on TK.And thus,the professional development of M.Ed.in Subject Teaching(English)are promoted.
