Research On Slogan Poetry Of Tang Dynasty

Slogan poetry refers to the poem created by speaking without thinking at any time.It developed from ancient slogan poems in the Southern Dynasty to modern poetry in the Tang Dynasty,and lasted until the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Under the background of prosperity of Tang Dynasty poetry,slogan poetry has made great progress in terms of quantity,content,theme and style.This paper mainly studies the slogan poems about 102 poems in Complete Tang Poetry,Supplement to Complete Tang Poetry,and marked "slogan" or "kouzhan" in the preface.Starting from five aspects,I hope that on the basis of previous studies,I will further explore the reasons for the development of slogan poems in the Tang Dynasty,the characteristics of their creation and the influence of their status.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into five chapters.The introduction mainly explains the purpose and significance of this study,and analyses the current research situation of slogan poems.The first chapter mainly discusses the origin of slogan poems and combs the development of slogan poems in the Tang Dynasty.During the WeiJin Southern and Northern Dynasties,with the development of poetry metrics,poets paid more attention to form and rhythm.Therefore,the poet deliberately marks the word "slogan" in the poem title to show that the poem is chanted casually to distinguish those poems which are carefully created.With the development of slogan poems in the Tang Dynasty,the number of poets,content and subject matter of their creation increased significantly.This development is closely related to the higher level of poetry creation,reward singing and atmosphere,and the way of making friends with poems.The second chapter mainly discusses the four themes of the slogan poems of the Tang Dynasty,singing the praises,singing and farewell,the bitterness of the trip,comment on current affairs,and giving examples to analyze each theme of the slogan poems,in order to show the characteristics of the theme of the slogan poems in Tang Dynasty.The third chapter mainly studies the creation characteristics of slogan poems in Tang Dynasty.Slogan poems are chanted freely,with the characteristics of improvisation and casualness.Its creative features make slogan poems popular and natural,fast-paced and easy to read.Slogan poems have both rhythmic poems and quatrains,the short quatrains are easier to write than rhythmic poems,the quatrains become the main body of slogan poems.Chapter four studies the poets with a large number of slogan poems and distinctive characteristics.Firstly,this paper combs out 22 slogan poems of Du Fu,including group poems,and probes into the characteristics,creative reasons and value of these slogan poems.After that,it analyses the characteristics and causes of Liu Yuxi’s eight existing slogan poems.The fifth chapter mainly elaborates the status and influence of slogan poems in Tang Dynasty.It is believed that slogan poetry developed into a new style of poetry in Tang Dynasty,which not only enriched the form of poetry in Tang Dynasty,but also affected the development of poetry in Song Dynasty.The establishment of slogan poems in Tang Dynasty also provided a new choice for later scholars to write poems.
