Louise Erdrich,a prolific and representative Aboriginal Indian writer,whose work is based on the history,status quo and emotions of American Indians,carries her own good wishes and expresses her variety of themes.Her novels are based in North Dakota,using poetic language to tell the story of Indian survivors,and depicting a picture of myths and reality for our readers.This paper comprehensively uses the method of text reading and analysis induction.So that Louise Erdrich's reflection on Indian culture was deeply explored.First of all,starting from the predicament of survival,leading to death,reflecting on Indian culture from the perspective of death,by showing us the death of characters in the novels of "Bird Disaster" and "Love Medicine",causing our reflection on Indian culture,the death described in the novel The reason is not only the oppression of the colonists,but also Louise Erdrich's self-reflection of the Indians;secondly,the issue of identity from the dilemma of identity,reflecting on Indian culture in identity and positioning;Finally,reflecting on the future of Indian culture,only the revival of Indian culture is the only way out.Here the author gives us the answer,on the one hand,to heal the inner pain of the Indians through love and tolerance,and on the other hand It is to adhere to the traditional culture of the nation,to accurately locate in the cultural miscellaneous,and to learn to seek common ground while reserving differences in different cultures.
