The piano work "Sound of the Waves" is the fourth song in the piano suite "Impressions of Paintings by Higashiyama Kaii" created by the famous composer Wang Lisan in 1979.It is also the most famous and widely circulated piano solo in this suite.The material of "Sound of the Waves" comes from several landscape paintings by Japanese painter Higashiyama Kaii,which combines traditional Chinese music materials with Japanese traditional scales.This paper mainly discusses the author's treatment of the performance of "Sound of the Waves".Firstly,starting from the creative level of the work "Sound of the Waves",this paper expounds the creation background of "Sound of the Waves",and analyzes the creation of music of each part of the work.Secondly,it summarizes and analyzes the difficulties in "Sound of the Waves" 's playing skills,including the specific application of chord playing and pedals,and puts forward corresponding practice methods based on the author's own playing experience.At the end of the paper,the artistic conception of "Sound of the Waves" is dealt with,including the expression of its unique sense of painting and the transmission of the spirit of the work.
