The suicidal behavior of middle school students has become an important problem that can not be ignored in school.As a precursor of suicide,it is necessary to study the influencing factors of suicide ideation.This study has two parts.The first step is to explore the influence of rumination on suicide ideation.moreover,it is hypothesized that mental resilience the effect of rumination on suicidal ideation to reveal the effect of rumination on suicidal ideation and its mechanism.By means of questionnaire survey,500 senior high school students were investigated by questionnaire,and the data were collected and analyzed.The second part: Through the intervention of rumination to reduce the level of rumination,improve the level of mental resilience,and finally achieve the goal of reducing the level of suicidal ideation.According to the intervention theory of rumination and the practical situation of high school students,the group counseling program is designed and applied to practice.The experimental group received group counseling,while the control group received no group counseling.Rumination,mental resilience,and suicidal ideation levels were measured before and after the experiment.The difference of collected measurement data was compared by independent-sample T test and paired-sample T test between the experimental group and the control group.The conclusions are as follows:1.The number of high school students with suicidal ideation accounts for 25.4%of the total number.2.The rumination and mental resilience of high school students with different family locations showed significant differences;3.Rumination was positively correlated with suicidal ideation and negatively correlated with mental resilience in high school students.mental resilience was negatively correlated with suicidal ideation.4.High school students’ mental resilience has a complete mediating effectbetween rumination and suicidal ideation.5.After the group counseling intervention of rumination,the rumination level of high school students was reduced,the mental resilience level was improved,and the level of suicidal ideation was reduced.
