Foregrounding theory originated from painting art and is an important concept in stylistics. The application of foregrounding theory in literary language, particularly in ancient poem translation is very essential,to try to carry the cultural connotation information embodied in the poems. Its practical application in literary language is mainly achieved through deviation and over-regularization,which is the most obvious in the poetic language. This paper analyzes the foregrounding features of the same translational work of Song Ci by Mr.Xu Yuanchong and Mr.Zhao Yanchun.Combined with the perspective theory, this thesis is dedicated to figuring out the emphasis of their translation choices so as to explore the translation methods of poetry translation. The research results of this paper show that: 1)through analysis of translation works of both translators, the foregrounding features mainly focus on phonetics, syntax and semantics, and play an important role in conveying the sounds, forms and meanings of the original works;2)in the process of translation, both of the translators have broken the structure and rhythm of the original works to some extent, and reshaped the form and rhythm of the translated poems.
