| The development of Chinese language teaching in Indonesia has experienced twists and turns.In recent years,as a country along the “The Belt and Road Initiative”,Chinese language teaching has gradually attracted attention and started to be on the right track,showing a vigorous development situation.At present,there are many investigations and studies on the current situation of Chinese language teaching in various regions of Indonesia,but most of them are concentrated in the more economically developed areas such as Java Island.However,the situation of Chinese language teaching in different parts of Indonesia is not the same and there is a phenomenon of uneven development.Therefore,the author decided to take the opportunity to teach in Ambon,Indonesia to investigate the current situation of Chinese language teaching in Ambon,Indonesia,and to supplement the regional survey of the current state of Chinese language teaching in Indonesia.This article investigates the Chinese teaching situation of Kalam Kudus School Xaverius School and Pattimura University in Ambon,and objectively shows the current status of Chinese teaching in Ambon from the aspects of Chinese curriculum,Chinese teachers,students,and Chinese textbook which they used.Through questionnaire surveys and interviews with Chinese learners and Chinese teachers in Ambon,the school,teachers,students,and textbooks were pointed out the various problems in Chinese teaching in Ambon at present,and combined with the results of the survey and actual situation analysis.The causes of these problems,and put forward some suggestions and countermeasures to promote the development of Chinese teaching in Ambon.Through the investigation and research,we know that although the overall Chinese teaching foundation in Ambon is relatively weak and the development speed is relatively slow,it faces more difficulties,and it mainly focuses on the lack of Chinese teachers and the lack of Chinese class hours.The school has paid more and more attention to the Chinese class and started to take certain measures to change the status quo.It is hoped that by investigating the current situation of Chinese language teaching in Ambon,it can present a clear presentation of the current situation of Chinese language teaching in Ambon.At the same time,it also hopes to provide some reference significance and reference value for the development of Chinese languageteaching in Ambon,Indonesia. |
