A Study Of The Interactive Relationship Between Poetry And Music In The Book Of Songs

The Book of Songs is an ancient art in Chinese history.It is not only the starting point of civilization art,but also the response of social life in ancient times.It has a high historical value.The Book of Songs is mostly a musical song,which vividly and comprehensively records the life of the primitive ancestors.This paper is based on the interaction between poetry literature and music culture in The Book of Songs.The first chapter discusses the cultural background of the integration of poetry,music and dance in the pre-Qin period,and explains the interaction between The Book of Songs and music.Firstly,explore the origin of early poetry and music.Based on ancient Chinese classics,it is believed that music originates from the imitation of natural voice and the imitation of human natural language.Secondly,it discusses the origin of poetry and holds that poetry and music come together at the time of their origin,which is determined by their isomorphic relationship.In addition,on the premise of the relationship between poetry,music and dance in the primitive period,this paper comprehensively reviews the music documents of the pre Qin and Han Dynasties,expounds and analyzes the relationship between poetry,music and dance in the Western Zhou and Eastern Zhou from the macro level,and discusses the internal origin,the relationship between the three.In the pre Qin cultural background,poetry and music have a common cultural background.The second chapter mainly studies the specific accessories in the poetry of The Book of Songs’ and analyzes the poetry and music thoughts emoodied in the music poetry of The Book of Songs.First of all,through the discussion of the relationship between The Book of Songs and the music,the debate between harmony and unharmonious music,the paper defines the music materials of The Book of Songs,denies the theory that The Book of Songs can be included in the music under the restriction of the system of rites and music.At the same time,it holds that in the big cultural background,all 300 poems of The Book of Songs can be included in the music.And on this premise,the main content of the selected object is 300 poems,including poems not recorded.Secondly,it summarizes and classifies the poems related to music in The Book of Songs,extracts the voice,sound,music and other text fragments in the text,and makes cultural analysis on the music text of The Book of Songs.In addition,taking the musical instruments of The Book of Songs and their comparison as the object of discussion,this paper explores the role of musical instruments in poetry from the aspects of content and form.Finally,based on the image of music,explore the role of music in promoting and expanding the content of poetry,the research and inference of poetry purpose,and restore the ideological theme and expression art of poetry.The third chapter studies the relationship between poetry and music in The Book of Songs from two aspects:the stage of poetry creation and the stage of integration of poetry and music.Combined with the text of The Book of Songs,this paper explores the relationship between poetry and music and the evolution of cultural roles in The Book of Songs under the macro culture of rites and music.In the process of research,it is found that the first stage is the early creation of poetry and music.Poetry and music grow freely without the guidance of ritual and music norms and political utilitarianism,which is a fresh and straightforward natural music.In terms of artistic expression,poetry and music are independent of each other,but in terms of ideological expression,the two tracks tend to be the same.In the second stage,with the invention of musical instruments,the internal relationship between poetry and music is strengthened,and the content and application of poetry are more diverse.The third stage is the heyday of rites and music culture.Influenced by politics,culture and other factors,poetry and music become the main form of rites and music system.Rites are the center of production and life in the era of The Book of Songs.Poetry and music serve rites together.Under the influence of ritual and music culture,the relationship between poetry and music in The Book of Songs has been destroyed.Poetry and music deviate from each other in emotion and content.The relationship between poetry and music is no longer the beauty of early natural harmony.The ritual of maintaining political order transcends the spiritual culture of poetry and music,and music transcends poetry,thus becoming the main expression tool.
