With the constant development of education,higher demands are required of cultivating novel talents,calling for the development of more language talents so as to make contributions to international communication and development.Nonetheless,in the case of Shufu County,Kashi in the south of Xinjiang,despite the fact that English classes are set up as early as grade three in primary schools,the time they were first adopted was relatively late,and the level of teaching is mediocre.The use of effective teaching strategy in classrooms lays a solid foundation for effectively accomplishing teaching goals and enhancing teaching quality.English teaching in primary school classrooms pave the path for fostering language talents.As a complete set of teaching plans adopted in practical classroom teaching which follows the cognitive level,age and learning style of pupils,the effectiveness of the use of teaching strategy in primary school classrooms has a significant impact on the teaching quality in English classrooms of local primary schools.Thus,the use of teaching strategy in primary school English classes in Shufu County,Xinjiang pertains to the progress of local education,hence deserving people's attention.This study mainly adopts the current use table and effect assessment table in terms of teaching strategy in English classes of primary schools in Shufu County,Xinjiang to carry out questionnaires on four hundred pupils between grade three and grade five in primary school A and primary school B,and conducts an in-depth interview on some English teachers between grade three and grade six in these two schools,based on which,according to the acquired data and resources,to delve into the use of teaching strategy in English classes of the primary schools in this county,to find out about the problems currently existing in teaching process of English classes of local primary schools,and to conclude and analyze the results of the survey.The main discoveries are as follows:The level of the use of teaching strategy in primary school English classes in Shufu County,Xinjiang is amazingly high,but is unbalanced in several dimensions in terms of development,and thus is by and large mediocre.During the process of English teaching in primary school classrooms,pupils have a comparatively high sense of approval given that the interactive teaching strategy is employed.Teaching strategy in English classes of primary schools in Shufu County,Xinjiang is assessed to be at a high level in terms of the effect,hitting low in each dimension,though,and obtaining a strong sense of approval in each dimension.This study comprises five chapters for a research into the usage of English class teaching strategies in Shufu County Primary School,Xinjiang.The first chapter is an introduction.This chapter mainly probes deep into the relevant concepts and fundamental theoretical questions with reference to pertinent academic materials.The second chapter provides a theoretical basis for the use of teaching strategy in English classes of primary school.The third is a practical survey of the usage of English class teaching strategies in Shufu County Primary School,Xinjiang.This chapter,in the first place,looks into the general situation of current surveys,revealing existing problems and summing up as well as analyzing the results of those surveys.Second,it discusses and analyzes the total score of data tables and distinctions in different dismensions with respect to different backdrop variables.The fourth is a discussion of the effect of employing English class teaching strageties in Shufu County Primary School,Xinjiang,first analytically summarizing the general results of effect surveys,and then discusses and analyzes the total score of data tables and distinctions in different dismensions with respect to different backdrop variables.The fifth chapter discusses strategic suggestions for the implement of English class teaching strategies in Shufu County Primary School,Xinjiang.
