An Analysis Of The Artistic Features Of Musical "Come From Away"

《Come From Away》is a very original musical.It is adapted from the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States in 2001.It is based on gander town in Newfoundland,Canada.It describes a series of little-known,incredible and real events after the terrorist attacks.In 2011,in the 10 th year of September 11,Irene Sankoff and David Hein spent a month gathering wind in gander Town,visited a large number of people who had experienced the event,collected nearly 16000 real stories,and creatively integrated the exciting and warm event into the 100 minute musical.The author was moved by the power contained in it,practiced in person,and boldly integrated the past performance experience.He had his own unique way of performing this musical,and deeply realized the unique advantages of the script creation.In this paper,the author elaborated from three aspects: the first part,through a variety of image data analysis musical 《Come From Away》 script composition,creation background and plot introduction.In the second part,the author analyzes how the actors use their inner activities and body movements to express and act on multiple angles by one person,as well as some difficulties found by the author after personal interpretation,such as how to compile the original English lines into Chinese versions,and how to conclude the English aria and Chinese performance without damaging the overall harmony of the musical To solve this problem,the author also puts forward his own solution,which is to sing English aria directly and try to restore the emotional connotation contained in the original aria.At the same time,the author expounds the use of simple set,props,costumes,music and other technical means in the musical.In the third part,according to a series of experience about the integration of script lines and songs in the rehearsal and performance of the musical from afar,the author answers some problems that many people may encounter in the musical performance,such as how to find the balance between the two in the interpenetration of Chinese words and English Aria,as well as in daily learning How to improve the vocal skills,hope to provide a reference for musical lovers,and also to introduce the excellent musical《Come From Away》 to the audience.
