Popular Science Documentary "Sweet Price" Creation Report

In order to implement the Healthy China Strategy,the National Health Commission(NHFPC)has released the "Healthy China Action 2019-2030",a programmatic guidance document,which further emphasizes the "three cuts and three health" campaign and advocates a healthy and civilized lifestyle.Right now,in the overall level of residents’ health literacy is still low,types and diet in people’s diet structure is constantly changing,in which residents daily intake amount of sugar has severely exceeded the world health organization(who)and standard,put forward by the "three minus three health" is facing the health of the residents in the-sugar "invisible killer",the threat of added sugar intake if unreasonable,between sugar will be invisible to destroy people’s health.At present,the development of health communication in China is slow,and the creation of popular science documentaries about health is limited.Sweet Price is a popular science documentary on the theme of "sugar".It adopts the documentary method of shooting individual cases,USES digital animation,scientific experiments and expert interviews to vividly and rigorously study the scientific knowledge of popular science.The work aims to transform health communication knowledge into image-based language.The narrative method is helpful to influence the change of audience’s attitude and health behavior through realism,identification and communication of health concept.This paper applies the literature analysis and the creation practice analysis of health communication to specifically study the evidence-based science of popular science documentaries and the narrative structure of health communication,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.As the creation report of the scientific documentary "Sweet Price",this paper mainly focuses on the creation practice of the popular science documentary "Sweet Price" and elaborates on the background,significance,expression and creation process of the work.
