| Based on the teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language and the corpora,this paper analyzes the ontological characteristics of the Chinese reflexive pronouns"ziji" and "benshen" and the errors that occur when foreign students use them.Based on the errors,it analyzes the reasons for the errors and proposes some teaching suggestions.First of all,this article studies the "ziji" and "benshen" from two aspects of syntax and semantics.In terms of syntax,"ziji" and "benshen" can all serve as subjects,objects,and attributives.Among them,"ziji" has the largest number of attributives;"benshen" has the largest number of subjects;in addition,"ziji" can also be used as adverbial,"benshen"has lost the meaning of the reflexive pronoun when it acts as an adverbial component,meaning "original".Both of them have flexible syntax positions and can be located at the beginning,middle,or end of a sentence.Generally speaking,"ziji" is more likely to be used alone,and "benshen" is mostly combined with other components to form an appositive structure as an appositive.In terms of semantics,"ziji" has a function of general reference,emphasizes and reference,and can be subject to long-distance constraints;"benshen" has no general reference function,which has the function of emphasis and reference,and cannot be subject to long-distance constraints.The paper also makes a detailed description and comparison of the syntactic distribution and restrictions of "ziji" and "benshen" in the application of semantic functions."ziji" and"benshen" can only refer to the subject of the sentence.Secondly,based on the HSK dynamic corpus,this article makes a corpus study of the use of "ziji" and "benshen" by foreign students.We find that there are four kinds of errors in "ziji" and "benshen",namely,add by mistake,misuse,omission,and out of order.Among them,"ziji" has the most errors of and by mistake and "self’ has the most errors of misuse.The proportion of misuse between synonyms is higher in both words.Finally,in view of the errors in the use of "ziji" and "benshen" by foreign students,some suggestions and opinions are put forward mainly from three aspects:Chinese ontology factors,teaching factors and acquisition factors,in the hope of helping teaching the two words in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
