A Narrative Study Of Artistic Animation Short Films

There once has been a glorious history since the birth of Chinese animation,but with the developing of the global economy,the domestic animation market has been impacted by movies from foreign countries,which showed a declining trend,and once underwent depression.Today,although domestic animation technology has been greatly developed under the rapid growth of the domestic economy,its story and design have begun to show industrialization.The low age of domestic animation movies leads to insufficient box office or ratings.Faced with the reality of the embarrassment of domestic animation today,it is undeniable that the main reason lies in the inadequacy of animation stories.It has become the most important issue we should study how to break the current situation? how to tell a good story?Fine art animation is welcomed by the audience as a clean stream,especially for most of the art animation in the form of short films,the audience is no longer harsh about the details of the plot,color,composition and so on,but more inclined to discuss the moral of the story.Although artistic animation is not for profit,its narrative advantages are worth learning for commercial animation.In this paper,the first chapter will make a specific elaboration on the research background and current situation,research purpose,and significance,as well as research methods,it points out the decline of the animation industry,elaborates the current situation of the lack of narrative theory of artistic animation short films;in the second chapter,it explains the understanding and definition of artistic animation short films and narrative;The third,fourth and fifth chapters of the article will discuss the story theme,narrative mode and narrative means of artistic animation short films.In the sixth chapter,the narrative law and narrative characteristics are summarized in combination with the previous research.Then,combined with my work,I will make a research on the narrative characteristics of artistic animation short films in the summary chapter.I hope to combine the narrative characteristics of artistic animation short films in the future and raise the quality of works。...
