This study mainly investigated the effect of relative deprivation on aggressive behavior of college students and the role of negative emotion and emotion regulation self-efficacy in it.A total of 500 undergraduates and graduate students in Heilongjiang province were selected to test the relative deprivation sense scale, the Chinese revised version of the attack questionnaire, the negative emotion scale and the self-efficacy scale of emotion regulation.Research shows that:(1)The relative deprivation of college students is not significant in gender, whether they are only children and whether they are class cadres, there are significant differences in grade, the fourth grade is higher than the other grades, the most significant;there are differences in the financial situation of the family, among which the college students with very tight families are the most significant.(2)The negative emotion of college students is different in the demographic variable of gender, and the results show that the negative emotion of male students is larger than that of female students, and there is no significant difference between negative emotion and class cadre. There are significant differences in negative emotions in the demographic variables of family economic status, and the study shows that there are differences between relatively rich and very tight, between moderate and relatively tight, between medium and very tight, and between comparative and very tight.Negative emotions differ in the demographic variables of grade, freshman and freshman There are differences between senior year, sophomore year and senior year, and between junior year and senior year.(3)There are significant gender differences in the two dimensions of managing depression/pain and managing anger/irritability in college students’ emotional regulation self-efficacy,and boys are much higher than girls. At the same time,it was found that the dimension of positive emotion regulation self-efficacy in emotion regulation self-efficacy was significantly different in the source of students, and the significance of town was the highest.(4)The aggression behavior of college students is not significant in the two demographic variables of sex and whether they are only children. There are two dimensions of aggressive behavior in the demographic variable of family economic status, which are physical aggression and hostility. In the study,it was found that there were significant differences in aggressive behavior in grade, between freshman and senior, and between sophomore and senior.(5)Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between relative deprivation, negative emotion and aggressive behavior, and negative emotion, emotion regulation self-efficacy and aggressive behavior.(6)The structural equation model showed that college students’ relative deprivation had a significant positive predictive effect on aggressive behavior,in which negative emotions played an intermediary role, and emotional regulation self-efficacy played a regulatory role in the influence of negative emotions on aggressive behavior, that is,individuals with high emotion regulation self-efficacy had a relatively greater predictive effect on aggressive behavior than individuals with low emotion regulation self-efficacy.
