| Youth is the hope of the country and the future of the nation;youth rejuvenates the country,and youth strengthens the country.College students are the backbone of the youth group and the core of the future construction of Chinese society.The level of their own quality directly determines the future of China’s development.So far,the research objects of psychological quality are mainly concentrated in the elementary and middle school stage.Researchers have in-depth research on the impact mechanism and functional role of psychological quality in primary and secondary schools,and have achieved fruitful research results.However,there are relatively few researches on the psychological suzhi of college students.The main reasons are as follows: On the one hand,the existing psychological suzhi questionnaires for college students have been developed for a long time,mainly based on early master’s thesis.Due to the lack of further revision,it is difficult to objectively and effectively measure college students.On the other hand,affected by multiple factors such as family,school,region,etc.,the level of heterogeneity of the college student group is high,and the existing research results have great differences.With the all-round advancement of quality education in China,the state and society’s attention to the quality education of college students has continued to increase,which shows that it is urgent and necessary to extend the research of psychological suzhi to the group of college students.Therefore,this study takes college students as the research object,systematically examines the development of college students psychological quality,and explores the impact of psychological suzhi on college students’ mental health,social adjustment,and academic achievement from an empirical perspective.This study contains 3 sub-studies.Study 1 aims to investigate the measurement equivalence of the college student’s psychological quality questionnaire(simplified version);Research 2 conducts a questionnaire survey on college students who arestratified and clustered across the country to clarify the overall development of college students’ psychological suzhi,and explore gender,Differences in psychological quality development among college students in grades,majors,family residences,etc.On the basis of the second study,the third study further investigates the function of the psychological suzhi of college students,that is,the impact of psychological quality on the mental health,social adaptation and academic development of college students.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The two-factor model of psychological suzhi is suitable for college students.The university student psychological suzhi questionnaire(simplified version)based on the two-factor model has measurement equivalence between students of different genders and different subject categories,and can be used as a scientific measurement of university students’ psychological suzhi.(2)From the perspective of the overall development of college students’ psychological suzhi,the total score and the score of each dimension show a negative skewed distribution,and there are relatively few individuals with low psychological suzhi,indicating that the overall performance of college students’ psychological suzhi is relatively good.From a sub-dimension perspective,college students’ personality quality scores are significantly higher than cognitive quality and adaptability.From the perspective of the differences between demographic variables,the development of college students’ psychological suzhi shows significant differences in demographic variables.In terms of gender,the psychological suzhi scores of boys are significantly higher than those of girls,and the difference in cognitive quality scores of the two is more obvious.In grades,the psychological suzhi of students shows a "U" change trend that decreases first and then increases with the growth of grades.That is,the psychological quality of freshmen and seniors is significantly higher than that of sophomores and juniors.In the family place of residence,the psychological suzhi scores of students from different places of residence show a gradual decreasing trend from provincial capital cities,prefecture-level cities,county towns,towns and villages.In addition,the total score of the psychological suzhi of the only child is significantly higher than that of the non-only child;the score of the psychological quality of the students without left-behind experience is significantly higher than that of the students with left-behind experience.At the economic belt level,the psychological suzhi of students in the eastern region is significantly better than that in the western region,and the psychological suzhi of students in the western region is significantly better than thatin the central region.(3)Judging from the main development indicators of college students,there is a significant correlation between the psychological suzhi of college students and mental health,social adaptation and academic development.After controlling for the influence of demographic variables,through hierarchical regression analysis,the results show that college students’ psychological suzhi still have a significant impact on mental health,social adaptation,and academic development;Varies.In general,cognitive quality has a significant impact on indicators that are closely related to academic performance and personal achievements,but has no significant impact on indicators involving emotional emotions and value judgments;personality quality mostly affects indicators involving emotional and emotional states Significantly,it has a weak influence on achievements,achievements,etc.;adaptability has a significant impact on indicators of mental health,social adaptation,and academic development. |
