Shao Yichen was a famous scholar of modern literature in Daoxian period of Qing Dynasty,it’s famous for “The General Theory of Rites in Later Ages”.The research on Shao Yichen has been mainly focused on his thoughts of confucian classics.Although Shao Yichen is famous for the study of classics,his literary works also have considerable points.His legacy works are mainly included in the “Books Written in Half a Cave ”written by it’s family academy,saving 146 poems and 55 articles.Poetry is rich in content and diverse in style,with the unique style of poetry.This paper is divided into four chapters,discussing Shao Yichen’s literary intercourse,poetic theme,allusive art,poetics view and poetic style.Chapter one textual research on Shao Yichen’s literary friends.He make friends extensively,according to the identity of his literary friends,they can be divided into:Tongcheng school of literati,the official colleagues in Beijing,the bibliophile,the main way of communication is to recompense poetry.With Shao Yichen poetry singing and frequent people have Mei Zengliang,Zeng Guofan and Long Qirui,etc.The period of communication focused on the period from Shao Yichen’s coming to Beijing in the 20 th year of Daoguang(1840)to returning to Hangzhou in the 4th year of Xianfeng(1854).The second chapter classifies and studies Shao Yichen’s poems.According to the subject matter is divided into: presented a poem,poems on paintings,poem of describing landscapes and farewell poems.Shao Yichen had so many friends that his poems were the main part of his poems.There are tasteful works of exchange with friends,and moving words that express the true feelings of the heart.Painting poems are often written at the invitation of friends.Not only vividly depict the scene in the painting,but also praise the painter.When Shao Yichen lived in Beijing,he visited the beautiful scenery around the capital with several friends,he left a number of popular landscape poems,express feelings of detachment.Farewell poems are structured with emotional disclosure,showing the characteristics of poetry as a scholar.The third chapter discusses the characteristics of Shao Yichen’s poetry.As a scholar of classics,Shao Yichen loved to use books.The quotation of allusions in his poems can be divided into two categories: literary texts and historical texts.His literary texts come from the confucian classics,mainly “The Book of Songs”.His historical texts come from the history books,mainly "Zuo Zhuan".It shows that Shao Yichen as a scholar of classics and a government official has the heart of governing the world.The characteristics of poetry are mainly shown as taking from the classics,using the scripture in a dense way,keeping the correspondence neat and flexible,which makes his poems have the characteristics of elegance and refinement.The fourth chapter discuss the poetics view and poetic style of Shao Yichen.Shao Yichen advocated attaching importance to Qi,promoting song poetry,advocating “talent,emotion,scene,reason”and introducing truth and reason into the aesthetic thoughts of poetry.It reflects his unique literary pursuit as a scholar of classics.Shao Yichen’s poetry is characterized by elegance and novelty.Shao Yichen’s poems are diversified in style.His thoughts on confucian classics and rigorous attitude towards self-cultivation make his poems unique.His object-chanting poems devote oneself to exhaustively andmeticulously to depict things.At the same time,the language of the poem is odd and difficult,which is characterized by “unnaturalness”.
