Research On Zhuang Yuanchen’s Writing Theory

Zhuang Yuanchen’s life experienced roughly three periods of Jiajing,Longqing and Wanli,and the three periods have distinct characteristics in political,economic and cultural aspects,which are different from other periods.Under this background,Zhuang Yuanchen inherited the writing theories of his predecessors and based on his own writing practice.He put forward many writing theories that reflect the writing style and characteristics of the time,as well as personal characteristics.Zhuang Yuanchen’s writing theory are embodied in three books,namely,Lun Xue Xu Zhi,Xing Wen Xu Zhi and Wen Jue.Although these three books are not connected on the surface,it is not difficult to find out that if you study ancient writing or modern writing,you can find certain common grounds.These have enriched and perfected the research article writing theory.First,Zhuang Yuanchen’s writing theory affirms the main role of Yi in essay writing.On the one hand,Zhuang Yuanchen compared Yi to a general,emphasizing the pursuit of Gao and Wan in Yi in ancient article writing.At the same time,he pointed out the purpose of seeking global thinking of the whole article.On the other hand,Zhuang Yuanchen compared Yi to wood,emphasizing the importance of developing the meaning of the topic in Ba Gu writing.Second,Zhuang Yuanchen’s writing theory emphasizes the importance of structure in writing.Zhuang Yuanchen compared Ge to the construction of the room frame,needs Rong lian and Bo lian to adjust the frame in order to achieve consistency in content and expression.The Diao in the text is like the partition of a house,and the Cai lian and Dao lian are used to ensure that the article is expressed properly.At the same time,the structural method of Qi Cheng Zhuan He was also applied to the writing method of ancient writing by Zhuang Yuanchen,and discussed in detail through a variety of superior methods.Third,Zhuang Yuanchen’s writing theory addresses language in article writing.In ancient writing,Zhuang Yuanchen compared sentence to soldier,pursuing the refinement and accuracy of refining characters,and compared word to armor,requiring the refining characters to be bright and healthy.In contemporary writing,he likens the words to the painted decoration used to build the house,and pays attention to its decorative effect on the whole.Fourth,Zhuang Yuanchen’s writing theory pursues articles that can meet the aesthetic standards of Pingdan,Jingshen and Yuanrong.Among them,Pingdan requires natural and authentic writing when writing,and opposes gorgeousness,aiming at unintentional and inaction neutral speech;Jingshen requires that the writing of the article be different from other people’s magic on the basis of Pingdan;Yuanrong is to achieve the purpose of expressing the meaning of the text in a round and seamless manner in the transformation of the article.Fifth,Zhuang Yuanchen’s writing theory attaches great importance to the subjective quality of writing,which increases with knowledge,and puts forward specific requirements for the Ji Shi Yang Qi and Wen De Tong Yi,so that his subjective conditions can better serve the writing of articles.
