With the continuous development of digital technology,today’s visual consumption has moved from the age of picture reading to the age of video reading.The huge dividend brought by the Internet industry has also inspired the development of the design industry.As an important form of communication in design,motion graphic design has become an indispensable backbone in the advertising industry.Motion graphic design has been favored by advertisers because of its rich expressive power and high audience acceptance.However,compared with the popularity of motion graphics design in the advertising industry,its trend in theoretical construction has never been taken seriously.The motion graphics design market lacking theoretical support presents a mixed pattern,so it is more urgent to propose a set of strategies that can support the design for motion graphic designers.This subject is based on absorbing the theory of space narration,applying the analysis method of narratology to motion graphic design and combining narratology,psychology,advertising,and related theoretical knowledge.It analyzes the characteristics of spatial content in motion graphic design,the structural effects produced by spatial combination,spatial perception and symbols to construct the deep meaning field.And through the specific case analysis of its shortcomings,it clearly points out the application strategy of motion graphic design under the guidance of spatial narratology,and integrates it into the actual case in order to prove the operability of design theory through actual results.The application of the strategy of space narration in motion graphic design not only solves the practical problems of lack of content,confusing narrative,and lack of meaning in the actual application of motion graphic design,but also enriches the gap of narratology theory in the field of graphic design for researchers for future reference.It is conducive to the further development of motion graphic design in the design industry.
