| As one of the representative painters of the Nabis,Edouard Vuillard was once called "painting tapestry".Vuillard focused on such characteristics as "planarization","simplification","subjectivity" and "orderliness" in his paintings,which showed rich decorative features.This thesis,beginning with the research into the decorative features of Vuillard’s paintings,explores the decorative art language of his works mainly in terms of composition,modeling,color,texture,and combining with my graduation works,elaborates on the decorative effect of Vuillard’s paintings on my paintings.The thesis consists of five chapters:The first chapter is an introduction,briefly introducing the purpose and content of this thesis.The second chapter mainly explains the concept of "decorative" and explores the source of Vuillard’s decorative painting style.The third chapter analyzes the specific expression of decorative language in Vuillard’s paintings.The research content covers four aspects: planar composition,simple modeling,subjective color and unique texture and brush strokes.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the inspiration of Vuillard’s decorative art language to my creation.This chapter describes in detail how I absorbed and used the expression of decorative aesthetics in Vuillard’s paintings and the main process of graduation creation in three parts: my art experience,my art conception,and my art expression.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of this article.This article attempts to deepen my understanding of the decorative language in Vuillard’s paintings through the research on this subject,and to guide my graduation creation,and also provide direction for the future art path. |
