Phonology plays an important role in English learning.Good phonetic basics can help learners remember words,improve their listening and speaking skills,and improve reading competences.However,phonetic teaching has not been paid enough attention to in English teaching in junior middle school.Many students still memorize words mainly by mechanical memory,and have poor pronunciations.Cultivating the phonological awareness of junior middle school students,mastering the internal pronunciation structure and pronunciation rules of words,can help improve memorize words,increase vocabulary and improve the ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing.There are various video materials in dubbing software,including English news,advertisements,celebrity speeches,movie clips,songs and so on.Learners can try to listen to,follow,imitate,record a single sentence,compose the whole paragraph,and finally create their own works.In the process of imitating the correct pronunciation and intonation,the sensitivity of English phonetic is cultivated while the pronunciation is corrected.In this way,learners can effectively improve the phonological awareness and build a good foundation for the development of different language skills.In order to change this situation,this article is based on Krashen's acquisition and learning hypothesis and the affective filter hypothesis,combined with phonetic consciousness theory.The author try to combine Fun dubbing APP with traditional teaching mode,with the test of English phonological awareness as the evaluation standard,using experimental method to explore two questions: first,compared with the traditional teaching mode,the teaching application of Fun dubbing APP can effectively improve the students' phonetic consciousness,Second,how much the use of Fun dubbing APP can improve students' interest and confidence in learning English.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is a brief overview of the research background,significance and purpose of this paper.The second chapter is related literature review.It includes the monitoring mode theory of Krashen,the theoretical framework of phonological awareness,the introduction of English dubbing APP,the research status abroad and the domestic research status,which lays a theoretical foundation for proposing this research.The research shows that after 20 weeks' teaching method combined with Fun dubbing APP,compared with the pre-test,students' scores in English phonological awareness test have been significantly improved,including syllable awareness,onset-rime awareness and phoneme awareness.In addition,the development of students' pronunciation level enhances their confidence and interest in English learning.It is hoped that this teaching method can be used for reference by other English teachers and provide new teaching ideas for them.
