| Using the Pavlovia online experiment, the control effect of FOR is explored o n the dual-process of reasoning through different reasoning tasks. All three studies first compared the directions of change, time and final corre ct rate of the two respondents in the participants who undergone the FOR-Assessm ent step(experimental group)and those who did not undergo the FOR-Assessment step(control group). Then, observe the correlation relationship between values of FOR-Assessment and change behaviors,as well as the second answer time. The re search data was analyzed by traditional hypothesis test and Bayesian factor analysi s on jamovi and JASP.The results show that:1)Compared with the control group, the experimental group is more likely to change first wrong choice answers to correct on conflict items.Under conflict and consistent conditions, the correct rate of the experimental group was significantly h igher than that of the control group in the three studies, but under the neutral con dition of the third study, there was no significant difference between the experime ntal group and the control group.2)There was no significant difference between the experimental group and th e control group in the average time of initial responses, however, the average time of second responses in the experimental group was significantly longer than that i n the control group. The experimental group spent significantly longer time on sec ond responses, regardless of conflict, consistent,or neutral conditions.3)There is a significant negative correlation relationship between the values o f FOR-Assessment and change behaviors,as well as the second answer time. That is,the participants who have higher values of the FOR-Assessment on some item s,would be less inclined to change answers or spend more time on second answe ring. |
