Gustave Flaubert is known as the "originator of modern Western novels",and his works have attracted much attention with exquisite details and an objective attitude that is undecided.Flaubert’s famous work Madame Bovary is a painstaking work that lasted for five years.Once the novel was published,it caused great repercussions and even led to judicial proceedings.This article takes the publishing and litigation of the novel Madame Bovary as the starting point,and examines the literary litigation events under the field theory,and combines the various possibilities of space to explore and reveal At that time,the characteristics of the French cultural field structure and the complex relationship between the cultural field and other fields of social space,especially the power field.Secondly,compare the litigation incidents between Madame Bovary and The Flower of Evil,analyze the reasons for Flaubert’s victory in litigation,and then reveal the way in which capital participates in art production and criticism practice.Based on this,it analyzes how the order of power ranks into the habit of the mover,and points out that the actor in the field of literature becomes the accomplice of the legalization and naturalization of the rank of power on the basis of misunderstanding.Finally,returning to the image construction of the heroine Emma of the novel,and exploring the relationship between Emma’s consumption and novel reading,Emma’s consumption is rooted in her reading.It is the inevitability of reading and killing Emma,the death of Emma and the double break behind it.
