Lu ling,a writer known as a "genius",was at the peak of his creation in the1940 s and 1950 s.In the new period,Lu ling’s novels gradually come back to people’s vision,and they pay attention to lu ling’s early literary works.This paper focuses on Lu ling’s controversial novel.In the 1950 s,although this novel received great controversy,people still paid insufficient attention to it.This paper attempts to start from the criticism surrounding the novel The Battle on the lowland,sort out the detailed history of the criticism,as well as the complex reasons behind the criticism,and return to the work itself to give the novel a new interpretation and positioning.This paper is mainly divided into three parts,from three chapters to analyze the problem.The first chapter returns to the scene of criticism surrounding this novel in that year,and tries to sort out the criticism articles,critics’ criticism and writers’ counter-criticism as systematically and comprehensively as possible.From the time of publication,the position of criticism,the procedure of criticism and other aspects,the author presents the criticism of the works in the historical scene from the beginning to the later for the writer’s political qualitative change of the wind.The second chapter looks at the reasons behind this criticism even to the point of turning into criticism.Focusing on the external environment of the text,this paper mainly analyzes from three aspects: the particularity of critics and criticism position,the contradiction between the ’July school’ writers such as Hu feng and the political discourse of new China,and the theoretical problems of realism.Specifically,it involves many specific issues such as the supervision of literary discourse after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the transformation of the function of literary periodicals,the particularity of the identity of critics,the issue of sectarianism,the new requirements of yan ’an new literature and art,the special identity of Lu ling and the interpretation of realism,etc.The third chapter goes back to the text itself,starting with the characters involved in the novel,the plot,and the deeper themes the author wants to express.Onwhich contains pure affection,love is not possible,her name is force to analyze the metaphor and participation in the novel,eventually point to wider theme,and at the same time,comparing the war stories dialogue with Russia war novels,from the Angle of beyond common sense,to re-examine this novel,in contrast,The Battle on the lowland and aesthetic distance between contemporary novels,fixing the novel again.This paper starts from a short story,based on the relevant historical materials and a large number of materials surrounding this field,takes lu ling’s text as the soil,sorts out the relationship between the inside and outside of the text,takes the historical materials and criticism of the past as the basis,and reinterprets it from the current theoretical perspective.
