| According to the Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards(2017),teachers are the organizers,guides,mentors,and facilitators in the teaching process,which advocates teaching should be student-centered and change the traditional teaching method.In traditional junior middle school listening teaching methods,teachers only allow students to passively accept new knowledge,which is lack of interaction and communication with students in the classroom,and students ’enthusiasm for learning is not high,and students’ English listening performance is not satisfactory.This thesis changes the traditional classroom teaching model by using micro-video scaffolding instruction to achieve effective English listening classroom teaching to promote students’ performance.The combination of modern education technology micro-video and scaffolding instruction improves the teaching effect of junior middle school English classroom and creates a lively and interesting English listening classroom.Under the direction of Constructivism Theory,Micro-learning Theory and the Zone of Proximal Development,the author selects students of parallel classes in a town middle school as the research objects,and the author applies the micro-video scaffolding instruction to junior high school English listening classroom and launches a semester of teaching experiments.The experiment mainly collects data through questionnaires,tests and interviews,then the author uses SPSS23.0 statistical software for data analysis after the experiment.This experiment mainly solves two problems:(1)How does micro-video scaffolding instruction affect junior English class?(2)Can micro-video scaffolding instruction improve students’ listening scores? After the experiment,the author compares and analyzes the students’ English listening scores before and after the experiment and the effect of the micro-video scaffolding instruction in the listening class.Through the analysis and discussion of the data,the following conclusions are drawn.First of all,micro-video scaffolding instruction plays an active role in juniorEnglish listening class,such as stimulating students’ interest in English learning;strengthening students’ autonomous learning abilities;improving the teaching effect of English listening class and creating a good English learning environment.Secondly,micro-video scaffolding instruction can improve students’ English listening scores.The application of micro-video scaffolding instruction in junior English listening teaching can stimulate students’ enthusiasm in learning English listening,improve learning efficiency and improve their listening scores.Therefore,the application of micro-video scaffolding instruction in junior English listening teaching is very feasible. |
