| Since ancient times,Mongolians have a tradition of erecting inscripions to commemorate their ancestors and outstanding heroes.These inscriptions are not only important material evidence for studying the social system,official rank system,economic and cultural development at that time,but also an important basis for making up and correcting historical records.In the Ming Dynasty,due to the wide spread of the Lamaism in Mongolia,there were many inscriptions recording the history of temple construction,praising the living buddhists and benefactor’s merits and virtues,and many of them were preserved.Therefore,this paper takes the Mongolian inscriptions in Ming Dynasty as the research object,uses the anthropological field survey method to investigate the stele,take photos and make up records in detail,and at the same time,based on the previous research results,it corrects the deficiencies in the previous research and further improves them.This paper consists of five parts: introduction,text,conclusion,references and appendix.In the introduction part,the purpose and significance of the topic selection,previous research status,research methods and innovations are explained.The text is composed of five parts: the first part is the “Inscription of Bayagud Bagatur Taiji temple”,the second part is the “Inscription of Daigong Dayun Gusi”,the third part is the“ Inscription of Bogda chakhan Lama”,the fourth part is the“Inscription of Ligden Khan”,and the fifth part contains other Mongolian inscriptions in Ming Dynasty.In the first four parts of the text,the basic introduction,transcribing Mongolian inscriptions and Latin transcribing are made for each of the inscriptions,as well as the historical figures,official titles and Buddhist terms in the inscriptions.In the fifth part,according to the time sequence of setting up the inscriptions,collected the inscription documents which have made great achievements in the academic circles. |
