As a simple art form,the beauty of quietness is not only the most important feature of ancient Greek art,but also the highest artistic expression of classical art.In 1764 Johann Joachim Winckelmann put forward this aesthetic thought in The History of Ancient Art,and it had a profound influence on the development of classical art.The article is mainly about the performance method of beauty of quietness in the oil painting,based on the beauty of quietness,researching on the origin and development and how oil painting is further influenced.At the beginning of the thesis,the meaning,source and background of the times of beauty of quietness are analyzed in-depth,the second part of the thesis is a concrete elaboration of the methods of research and study of the expression of Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres' painting,as well as the application and expression of the application and performance in the practice of oil painting creation.In the third part of the thesis,it is mainly about the inspiration of Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres' painting to me and the understanding of the practice of oil painting creation,and the conclusion of this practice study is expounded and summarized at the end of the article.
