Objective:To compile the positive personality scale of Mongolian university students and test its reliability and validity.Methods:Based on the existing research base and innovation,the combination of lexicology,subjunctive and the widely read the Mongolian literature and Mongolian teaching material,form the Mongolian vocabulary item pool,positive personality through teaching the Mongolian graduate students to assess the vocabulary entries,group discussion,the final formation of the Mongolian college students positive personality inventory,using random sampling method,tested the scale in650 Mongolian college students,combined with other evaluation tools,to test the reliability and validity.Results:(1)Exploratory factor analysis determined that the scale contained5 factors.The first factor included persistence,perseverance,solidarity and willingness to help others,so it was named persistence.Factor two includes enthusiastic,lively,humorous,so it was named extroversion;The third factor includes kindness,loyalty,integrity and a sense of responsibility,so it was named moral;The fourth factor includes harmony(man and nature),so it is named naturalness;Factor five includes saving,sedate,strong and so on,reason its name is appropriate human nature.(2)Internal correlation analysis of the scale showed that all five factors of the scale were significantly positively correlated(p<0.001).(3)The results of confirmatory factors showed that?~2/df<2,RMSEA<0.08,RMR<0.09,CFI,TLI,GFI and IFI were respectively>0.9,supporting the scale structure.(4)The validity of the test shows that the Mongolian college students positive personality scale of each dimension and scale scores and college students’positive personality questionnaire and the big five personality scale has significant positive correlation,the Mongolian college students positive personality inventory of perseverance,extrovers-ion,morality,naturalness,agreeableness and their scores and positive personality of correlation coefficient were 0.363,0.3380.473,0.391,0.351and0.502,p<0.01;The correlation coefficients between persistence,extrav-ersion,morality,naturalness,agreeableness and the total score of the questionnaire and the big five personality were 0.530,0.568,0.571,0.488,0.580 and 0.719,respectively,p<0.01.(5)correlation analysis shows that there are significant differences between gender and positive personality traits of Mongolian college students,and there are significant differences between positive personality traits of Mongolian college students in different grades and majors.Conclusion:(1)The theoretical conception of the positive personality questionnaire for Mongolian college students is preliminarily established,which is somewhat innovative compared with relevant scales in terms of factor structure.(2)The scale consists of 5 factors,including 5 items for persistence,4 items for extraversion,4 items for morality,3 items for naturalness and 3 items for agreeableness,a total of 19 items.(3)The reliability and validity of this scale have been tested by a variety of methods,and the relevant indicators have met the requirements of psychometrics.
