At present,gamification learning design has become one of the important ways of teaching reform.However,in the actual front-line teaching,front-line teachers still lack effective design guidance,and there are difficulties in designing,carrying out gamification learning activities and developing gamification learning resources suitable for classroom teaching.Combined with this situation,through the observation and practice of B primary school in Baoding,Hebei province,this study reintegrated and designed the existing English e-learning resources of the school,and designed gamification learning activities that meet the needs of classroom teaching.Based on the actual situation of English teaching in the school,the literature,questionnaire,interview and classroom observation were used to carry out the secondary development of the existing and available English e-learning resources in the school.Based on the front-end analysis of learners,learning environment,learning content and learning resources,the paper puts forward the overall design idea of primary school English gamification learning activities.This paper proposes a variety of game strategies and interactive strategies for primary school English gamification learning activities.Among them,game strategies include memorization strategy,cooperation and competition strategy,problem strategy,role playing strategy,practice strategy,and entry strategy.Interaction strategies include problem guidance strategy,situation creation strategy,cognitive support strategy,cooperative competition strategy,communication feedback strategy,evaluation strategy,and reflection strategy.In primary school English gamification learning activities,there are mainly three links: preparation,simulation and practice.Four kinds of scaffolding are put forward: situation scaffold,game scaffold,video animation scaffold and problem scaffold.Combined with the unit “Play time!”,the strategies,links and scaffolds of gamification learning activities in primary school English are practiced,and the learning effect of students is tested by means of integral evaluation and grade evaluation.The practice shows that the primary school English gamification learning activities can effectively improve students' learning enthusiasm and English learning effect.Through the interviews with the teachers,the teachers hold a positive attitude towards the practice of the gamification learning activities,and the design of the gamification learning activity also helps the teachers to realize the secondary development of the existing teaching resources.Through the design and practice of this activity,this study also provides some references and guidance for other English teachers to carry out gamification learning design.Due to the small scope and short time of the activity practice,the research is limited,and further practice is needed to improve the feasibility of promotion.
