Research On Cross-cultural Communication Of Domestic Documentaries

With the improvement of China’s international status,the external dissemination of Chinese culture and the international expression of Chinese image have become particularly important."Chinese Story" has become very urgent to present a real,comprehensive and three-dimensional image of the country to the world.This problem must involve cross-cultural communication.In recent years,some domestically produced documentaries have won awards at international documentary festivals,which has aroused the attention of international audiences.The method of cross-cultural communication deserves attention.Therefore,this research mainly uses the literature research method,content analysis method and case analysis method to analyze and analyze the important elements and methods of cross-cultural communication of the internationally awarded domestically produced documentaries from 2011 to 2018 from the perspective of cross-cultural communication.This research first selects representative domestic award-winning works of domestic documentaries and analyzes their subject matter.These award-winning works selected well-known Chinese cultural symbols in the subject matter,and expressed strangeness in the content,which was unexpected by the audience.The research mainly analyzes the four works of "Third Pole","Super Project","Tea,a Leaf Story",and "Dangling Earth".These four documentaries have selected Tibet,Super Project,Little Tea,and Hot Search Poets as their expression objects,and have carried out a modest unfamiliarization on the content,showing people the Tibetan people ’s secular life and super projects Technological wonders and the super will of engineering builders,the historical vicissitudes and cultural heritage of tea culture,disabled poets and beautiful poems.Secondly,the article analyzes how international award-winning works of domestic documentaries based on international perspectives carry out cultural adjustments,mainly from the perspective of diversified narrative perspectives,moderate naturalization,and language conversion.First,diversified narrative perspectives mainly include external perspective narrative,internal perspective narrative and "other" perspective narrative.Secondly,moderate naturalization includes the establishment of acultural memory fit from daily life,seeking cultural adaptation with multiple identities,and embodying cultural integration with elements of various countries.Third,language conversion specifically includes reducing the barriers to cultural communication through the spanning of visual symbols,the proximity of commentary words,and the internationalization of commentary terms.Finally,the article combines the analysis of internationally-acclaimed works of domestic documentaries in recent years,and brings the following enlightenment to the creation of domestic documentary works in the future: through cultural fit and appropriate unfamiliarity,mobilize the viewing interest of foreign cultural audiences,and establish a dialogue space The exchange of western culture,humanistic exploration and national consciousness are equally important,and the self-molding of the national image,the cultural adaptation of the other narrative,and the vision of building a community with an international perspective are realized.
