A Study On The Style Of The 1980s And 1990s Taihang Mountains Thematic Landscape Painting

With the founding of New China,the Voice of "Chinese painting reform" more and more intense,artists around the beginning of life in-depth search for creative themes and inspiration.As an important part of Chinese regional landscape painting,Taihang Mountains-themed landscape painting has been developing continuously.After Jing Hao created Taihang Mountains water paintings in Honggu in the five dynasties,all the way to the founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China,the active advocacy of public art policy,and the changes in the development of Chinese painting,the landscape painting with the theme of Etheric behavior was revived in the1980 s and 1990 s after a long period of silence.The thesis mainly focuses on the creative style of the 1980 s and 1990 s Taihang Mountains thematic landscape painting.This period is quite special,the early period experienced the transformation of Chinese painting,reform and opening up,in the middle experienced a series of events such as "85 new trends of thought",the 90 s reflection on traditional painting,etc.,it has promoted the development of Taihang Mountains’ s thematic landscape painting.This paper studies the historical background and influential factors of the development of Taihang Mountains’ s thematic landscape painting,focusing on the style characteristics,inheritance and development of Taihang Mountains’ s thematic landscape painting in this special era.The thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter discusses the reasons for the formation of Taihang Mountains’ s thematic landscape painting style in the 1980 s and 1990 s from the special geographical factors,the development factors of the times and the main factors of the painters themselves The second chapter is the focus,mainly from the general style of the painter’s spiritual direction to explain the overall style characteristics,then,from the individual characteristics of the painter’s landscape paintings,we can classify and study the types of expression of Taihang Mountains’ s thematic landscape painting style,in addition,the academic teaching system established by the Taihang Mountains water paintersduring the formation of their styles,and the creation of Taihang Mountains water paintings by artists from other regions,all promoted the inheritance and development of Taihang Mountains water paintings,the last part is to sum up the value and thinking of Taihang Mountains water painting in this period.
